CrashNow Cleared On I-84 In Southington: UPDATE

SOUTHINGTON, CT —A single-vehicle accident on Interstate 84 in Southington on Monday afternoon caused significant traffic backups there, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has since been cleared.

The DOT reports the crash was on I-84 East between exits 31 and 32, resulting in the left and center lanes being closed.

The crash was first reported at 1:09 p.m., and the accident stopped being listed on the DOT's traffic report just past 2 p.m.
