But he also enjoys putting pen to paper once in a while and his latest book, "Humano-soar"is an action-adventure story for the whole family.

It is about a boy who loves flying and, when his plane crashes near a dinosaur research facility in Oregon, something weird happens.

The visual image of the book's cover tells you all you need to know about what does happen, but the story inside is worth a read with your children.

The program on Saturday is recommended for ages 4 and up, with Payton expected to read excerpts of his book and discuss it, as well as answer any questions.

At the end of the program, those attending will then do a dinosaur-theme craft project to take home.

The event is free and no registration is required for this free, drop-in event.
