Kids Can Karate Chop Their Way In Southington Rec Program
Registration is open for the six-week martial arts course which starts in April for children aged 3-12.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The town's recreation department and an area karate studio are teaming up for a special program in Southington teaching children up to age 12 martial arts.
The Southington Recreation Department announced this week that registration is available for the spring session of "Youth Martial Arts."
It will run from April 24 through June 2 and it will feature three separate divisions of classes depending on the age group.

The classes are three times a week for six weeks and cost $99 per child.
Included in the fee are uniforms, according to the rec department.

The classes are being taught by instructors with Southington-based Leadership Martial Arts.
