From 6-7:30 p.m. individuals can learn how they can provide stability as a Therapeutic Foster Parent. A Therapeutic Foster Parent provides a stable and nurturing home for those ages 6 through 18 who have been removed from their homes due to issues of abuse and/or neglect, or are experiencing symptoms related to trauma, loss or other behavioral health concerns. Among many identifiers, such as behavioral concerns and academic challenges, these children/adolescents need adults to support them and believe in their futures.
Klingberg Family Centers Permanency Services Division, including Therapeutic Foster Care Program (TFC), Wendy’s Wonderful Kids and PPSP services, is committed to ensuring children, adolescents and those that care for them have the support, training and connection to thrive in their day-to-day life.
