Major Weekly Southington Event Back At The Green

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Friday evenings are all right for farmers' markets in Southington, with the town's beloved market season already underway after opening last week.

The Southington Farmers Market, which takes place every Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., is back for 2025 at the Southington Town Green, 75 N. Main St.

While the first offering of the year was June 20, the next edition of the weekly event is on Friday, June 27, which also happens to be Art Day.

"Art can help our cognitive abilities, along with our emotional and mental health," wrote the Southington Community YMCA, which is the organizer of the market.

Southington Community Cultural Arts will be on hand with Make and Take art stations.

Of course, the market will also feature the usual roster of local food vendors, arts/crafts, and other items for sale, all in a close-knit, community market atmosphere.

The market will take place every Friday through Sept. 26, except for July 4, which is a holiday.
