In Memoriam: Barbara Ann (Faryniarz) Dupuis

Barbara Ann (Faryniarz) Dupuis, 62, of Southington passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at the HCC at New Britain General.

She was the loving wife of Michael T. Dupuis for 41 years.

Born in Southington on Dec. 17, 1953 to Regina (Chilczewska) Faryniarz and the late Anthony “Buddy” P. Faryniarz, she had been a lifelong Southington resident.

Barbara loved spending time with her beautiful granddaughter. She was a dedicated and caring employee, working as an accountant for Hart United Inc. for many years. Barbara was an avid reader and loved nature and animals.

In addition to her husband Michael and her mother Regina, she is survived by her son Jason Wright of Southington, the love of her life, granddaughter Norah Eve Wright; two sisters, Kathy Faryniarz Doty and her husband Paul of Southington and Diane Faryniarz of Plainville and her brother Paul Faryniarz of Southington. She was predeceased by her brother Anthony Faryniarz III and infant sister Laurie Regina.

Calling hours will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at 6 p.m. after the calling hours at the Plantsville Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
