In Memoriam: Frances G. Dumin

Frances G. Dumin, 87, of Southington, passed away on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 at Mid- State Medical Center.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Dumin.

She was born in Bristol, the daughter of the late Water and Gladys (Tomkowki) Grabelski.

Prior to her retirement she was employed by Florian Mfg. Co. and GE.

Frances was a Gold Star mother, a member of the Polish League of American Veteran’s, The America Legion Post #72 Axillary, The Vietnam Veterans of America Associates. Frances loved to travel and enjoyed many trips with her loving family.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Dumin of New Britain; a grandson Paul-Michael Dumin and fiancee Carol Feyerabend; a sister, Stella Martin of Southington; special friends Dorothy and Ronald Gravelle, Gretchen Musshorn and Denise Shaffer Amero, as well as Babcia of Eric Hanson, Jermey Gravelle , Susan and Steve Peters, Nathan, Tracy and Tiffany Lam as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son PFC Paul M. Dumin; a daughter Martha Dumin and five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
