In Memoriam: Richard A. Sidorik

Richard Alan Sidorik, 67, of Southington, passed away on Dec. 2, 2015 at home.

He was born on Sept. 9, 1948, the son of the late Walter and Kathryn (Ingelido) Sidorik.

Prior to his retirement he was employed by The Hartford Insurance. Richard was a lover of the Arts, he especially enjoyed going to Jacob’s Pillow and Tanglewood in the Berkshires. He also attended many performances at the Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven. Richard was an avid museum goer particularly in NYC when visiting his good friends. Above all, Richard was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend and will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by a brother Robert Sidorik (Mary Ellen Bernklau) of Florida and his sister Mary Ellen and husband Gregg English of Utah. He also leaves nieces and nephews, Suzanne and husband John Cucchi, Kimberly and husband Jeff Kuehn, Katie Sidorik and David McChesney Jr., Jacob and wife Michelle English, Travis, Dylan and Bryan English along with great nieces and nephews, Andrew, Michelle, Dayla, Paxie and Grayson.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, Jan. 14, at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Calling hours will be from 10-11 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
