The Plantsville resident earned a major win after scratching off a ticket purchased at a local gas station.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A quick stop at a Southington gas station ended with a much fatter wallet for one Plantsville man.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the resident purchased a scratch-off ticket on Monday, Aug. 11, and won $25,000 in the process.
The man played the 100X 2nd Edition game, and it was purchased at a Southington Quick Mart gas station/convenience store located at 802 West St., Southington.

The 100X 2nd Edition game costs $10 to play, and the maximum prize is $200,000, though this $25,000 payout still represents a good return on the "investment."
