SOUTHINGTON, CT — A special child car seat safety event at Southington's Calendar House last Saturday proved to be quite successful.

But even if you were unable to make the event, the Southington Police Department wants folks to know they're still here to help ensure children are safe in properly-installed car seats.

Saturday's event was in partnership with The Early Childhood Collaborative of Southington, with SPD officers hosting the car seat safety clinic.
