New Urgent Care Center Opens In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A new urgent care center has opened in Southington, giving those ill or injured a new option for quick care should they need it in town.

Hartford Healthcare announced Thursday the opening of a Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care facility, which is located at Southington West Street, 99 Executive Blvd., Southington.

It is at the corner of the Village Shops in front of Michael's, according to Hartford Healthcare.

The first day of operation was on Wednesday.

The new center offers treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, on-site X-ray services and diagnostic testing.

They are open 365 days a year, including holidays, with regular hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.

Southingtton's site joins new locations in Meriden, Derby and North Haven.

As a result of Wednesday's opening, the Southington community is now home to two Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth centers, with the other one located at 75 Queen St.

The four new locations bring the total number of Hartford Healthcare-GoHealth centers in Connecticut to 33.
