Rotary Club Giving Back To Veterans
Rotary Club of Bristol thanking veterans by providing coupons for local eateries.

The Rotary Club of Bristol will be thanking veterans for their service this Veterans Day by providing them with coupons for local eateries.

Local Rotary Club member Judi Ann Lausier said that coupon vouchers will be distributed through the Veterans Strong office at City Hall at 111 N. Main St. and at the United Way of West Central Connecticut office at 440 N. Main St.
Coupons will be useable Thursday, Nov. 11 or Friday, Nov. 12 at Jimmy's On the River at 249 Terryville Road, Bagels Plus Deli at 641 Farmington Ave., Cravings at 1158 Farmington Ave. and Good Friends Diner at 188 Farmington Ave.

“This is a new initiative for Veterans Day in keeping with Rotary’s motto of ‘Service Above Self’,” said Lausier. “Our veterans have certainly paid their dues and because of their service we can all live our lives here in America. This is our way of giving back and showing our appreciation.”
