Sex Registry Violations Lodged Against Southington Men
Southington Police arrested the men after obtaining arrest warrants.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - Southington Police have arrested two residents of the Plantsville area on charges they violated sex registry regulations.
Police obtained arrests for the men who surrendered to police last week, according to statements released by police on Wednesday.
Mark W. Singleton, 38, of Marion Avenue, Plantsville, surrendered on FEb. 17 after he was notified by police that they obtained a warrant charging him with failure to register. Police said the department received notification from the Connecticut State Police, Sex Offender Registry Unit on Dec. 11 that Singleton “did not submit an address verification form within the statutorily required time frame that it was due.”

Singleton was released after posting a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Feb. 29 in court.
On Dec. 11, the department also received notification from state police that Anthony Esposito, 45, of Sunnyridge Drive in Plantsville, “did not submit an address verification form within the statutorily required time frame that it was due,” according to police.
Esposito was charged with two counts of Violation of Sex Offender Registry. He also was released after posting a $5,000 bond and given a Feb. 29 court date.
