Southington Auctioning Off Items From Evicted Property

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Town of Southington, Tuesday morning, April 8, is hosting an auction of items taken from an evicted property with potential bargains available depending on what's on sale.

The auction will take place at the Southington Highway Department Garage at 1 Della Bitta Drive in the Plantsville section of town. It will start at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Items up for public bid are those taken out of 1 Darling St., Apt. 130.

According to state statutes, successful bidders must pay for items in cash or by check (with proper ID) and do so at the conclusion of the event, and take home the items purchased.
