What Is Available To Veterans? Southington Forum To Address That

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A local lawmaker will host a special forum with area veterans at Southington's senior center to discuss resources and services available to veterans.

State Rep. Christopher Poulos, D-Southington, will be at Calendar House Senior Center, 388 Pleasant St., Southington, for his annual "Veterans Coffee Hour & Resource Discussion."

It will take place at the Calendar House at 9:30 a.m.

There, Poulos will be joined by State Veterans Affairs Commissioner Ronald P. Welch.

Both are inviting all Southington veterans and their family members to ask questions and get answers to myriad questions they might have.

With the Donald Trump/Elon Musk administration slashing many government services, including those helping veterans, state officials will likely have plenty to talk about at this event.

Poulos' forum will also include a special tribute to a local veteran who served his country and community honorably.
