Southington Library Open House To Show Off New Building
The new Southington Public Library opened last December, but Monday's open house will celebrate the end of all work there.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The new Southington Public Library opened last December, but since then, work has been ongoing to officially complete the project.
Now, it appears most of that work is finished, and the library is hosting a special open house celebration to mark the occasion.
Located at 255 Main St., the library's informal open house celebration is Monday, June 9, at 5 p.m.

The new, nearly $17 million library was officially dedicated late last year and library officials want folks to come and see what it has to offer.
Guests are invited to "enjoy the brick patio and community room, explore our resources and spaces, and meet the staff."

Light refreshments will be served, and the event is a drop-in program, with no registration necessary.
