Jeffrey Bowman, 23, remains un-sentenced following a hearing last week in New Britain Superior Court, Department of Correction records indicated Monday. He is being held on just over $250,000 bond while his matters are pending, according to the DOC.
Bowman in February 2021 took a plea deal, pleading guilty to one count of attempted assault on an officer and admitted to one count of violation of probation -- which stems from a conviction involving an assault and robbery at Page Park.

Bowman was arrested on Oct. 13, 2019, following an incident at Rockwell Park, where officers responded on the report of an intoxicated male. Upon telling Bowman he needed to go to the hospital because he appeared “highly intoxicated,” Bowman struck one officer and began swinging at another, police wrote in the report.
The officer who was struck declined medical attention, police reports indicate.
Following his outburst, Bowman was brought to a grassy area by two policemen. There, he continued trying to throw punches, resisted officers and tried reaching for one of their faces, police said in their reports.
Bowman is on probation after he pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree robbery during a hearing in August 2017. He was sentenced then to five years in prison, suspended after service of 18 months, and three years’ probation. That case stemmed from an incident in March 2017 in which Bowman and another Plantsville resident assaulted a man in a vehicle parked in Page Park, according to police. They punched him in the face repeatedly and robbed him, leaving the victim with a broken nose, black eyes and bumps all over his head.
