Southington Police Blotter: A Gas Station Rampage and Sexual Assault

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a busy previous week for Southington Police, the department reported multiple arrests including one after an enraged reaction from a Waterbury man at a town gas station and second in a sexual assault case. Take a look back at a long set of police logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

July 25

Richard T. Cassin, 41, of 45 Union St. in Meriden, was charged with traveling too fast, misuse of plates and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, July 25.

Leonard Dalke, 58, of 181 Sherbrooke St. in Bristol, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, July 25.

Joshoel Z. Mullen, 28, of 93 Dikeman St. in Waterbury, was charged with three-counts of third-degree assault, two counts of criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault and five counts of breach of peace, July 25.

Macri Thomas, 49, of 106 Allen Ave. in Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, July 25.

July 26

Christopher Santell, 27, of 30 Batt Place in Forestville, was charged with traveling too fast, misuse of plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to insure motor vehicle, July 26.

Sandy Lada, 42, of 71 Norton St. in Southington, was charged with violation of a protective order, July 26.

July 27

Tyler Delsanto, 19, of 163 Oakland Road in Southington, was charged with misuse of plates, failure to insure motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, July 27.

July 28

Mamadausaidou Barry, 48, of 165 Jude Lane in Southington, was charged with breach of peace, interfering with an officer, two counts of criminal attempt to commit third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespassing and criminal attempt to commit second-degree trespassing, July 28.

Sharone Patterson, 26, of 15 Ciccolella Court in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, July 28.

July 30

Katherine Carr, 24, of 127 Migeon Ave. in Torrington, was charged with three counts of sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny and second-degree failure to appear, July 30.

Brett B. Wright, 24, of 130 Cooper Ridge in Southington, was charged with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree forgery, credit card theft, illegal use of a credit card and fifth-degree larceny, July 30.

July 31

Nathan D. Grey, 33, of 82 Tulip St. in Bristol, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle under suspension and reckless driving, July 31.

Mufail Cani, 20, last known address of 29 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with three counts of second-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault and four counts of risk of injury to a minor, July 31.

August 2

Jeffrey Booth, 31, of 216 West Hill Road in Thomaston, was charged with third-degree larceny, Aug. 2.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Thirty-two (32) people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Nine people were cited with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.
  • Five people were cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
  • Five people were cited with failure to renew license/operating with a suspended license.
  • Four people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • Four people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • Two people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • Two people were cited with allowing a dog to roam without a leash.
  • One person was cited with failure to maintain proper lane.
  • One person was cited with an emissions violation.
  • One person was cited with unsafe backing/following too close.
  • One person was cited with making a restricted turn.
