Southington Police Blotter: Drugs, Motorcycles and Accidents

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In the mid-week logs, police played "catch up" in closing previously unreported arrests that included drug cases, larcenies and more. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

June 27 (Just Reported)

Heidi L. Vesentin, 54, of 1581 Meriden-Waterbury Road in Southington, was charged with destruction of property in a police investigation, possession of narcotics, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer, June 27.

July 7 (Just Reported)

Michael B. Turner, 55, of 131 W. Center St. in Meriden, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, July 7.

July 11

Cassandra J. Elmer, 23, of 185 Whiting St. in Plainville, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident and reckless driving, July 11.

Matthew Berube, 23, of 259 Pleasant St. in Southington, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident, operating an unregistered motorcycle, operating a motorcycle without a proper license and failure to maintain proper lane, July 11.

Charlene A. Miron, 45, of 27 Burnham Road in Terryville, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, July 11.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

Seven people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Three people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
One person was cited with making an improper turn.
One person was cited with failure to maintain proper lane.
One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
One person was cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
One person was cited with using a cell phone while driving.
