Southington Police Blotter: Stolen Guns, A 'Minor' Party
The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a busy weekend for Southington police, the department reported numerous arrests including a man involved in the theft of a handgun and citations, 36 to be exact, for residents involved in a house party. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.
The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:
August 2
Stephen Feeney, 18, of 47 Pheasant Run in Southington, was charged with permitting minors to possess alcohol and possession of alcohol by a minor, Aug. 2.
August 3
Daniel G. Smedley, 25, of 29 Commonwealth Ave. in New Britain, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and two counts of false reporting of an incident, Aug. 3.
Giuseppe Vitarella, 36, of 42 Victoria Drive in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer, Aug. 3.
August 4
Artur Kasinski, 21, of 33 Muir Terrace in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, third-degree burglary from a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a firearm, theft of a firearm, possession of weapons in a motor vehicle and illegal possession of a controlled substance, Aug. 4.
Brandon Pack, 18, of 48 George St. in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and first-degree criminal mischief, Aug. 4.
Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:
- Thirty-six (36) people were cited for possession of alcohol by a minor. (Includes three minors under 18.)
- Two people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
- One person was cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
- One person was cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
