Southington Police Blotter: Thefts, Arguments Lead to Arrests

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a busy weekend and start to the week for police, officers reported several cases including thefts, disorderly conduct and breach of peace charges in public fights. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:


Aug. 24 (Previously Unreported)

Andrew C. Palto, 22, of 63 Homesdale Ave. in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Aug. 24.

James E. Boudreau, 25, of 55 Merriman St. in Bristol, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Aug. 24.

Sept. 5

Cameron M. Colon, 42, of 26 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, Sept. 5.

Angel Colon, 39, of 26 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, Sept. 5.

Scott Allen Ryan, 42, of 40 Cornerstone Court in Plantsville, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Sept. 5.

Jack Tine Jr., 50, of 4 Lena Ave. in Plainville, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Sept. 5.

Sept. 6

Krysta Torelli, 20, of 120 Rahlene Drive in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and failure to maintain proper lane, Sept. 6.

Stacey Dubowsky, 33, of 8 Cornelius Way in New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 6.

Sept. 7

Brandon Pack, 18, of 48 George St. in Southington, was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 7.

Dean Freer, 21, of 298 Deerbrooke Circle in Southington, was charged with operating a motorcycle without a proper license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plates and failure to insure motor vehicle, Sept. 7.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Seventeen (17) people were cited with operating unregistered motor vehicles.
  • Five people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • Three people were cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
  • Two people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • One person was cited with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
  • One person was cited with misuse of registration.
  • One person was cited with allowing a dog to roam without a leash.
  • One person was cited with allowing a dog to be a nuisance.
  • One person was cited with passing in a no passing zone.
  • One person was cited with failure to wear a seatbelt.
  • One person was cited with failure to properly negotiate a curve.
  • One person was cited with failure to maintain lane.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • One person was cited with unsafe start of a motor vehicle.
