The maximum payout ticket was purchased this week at a local gas station/convenience store.
SOUTHINGTON/BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident's trip to a Southington gas station/convenience store this week proved to be quite lucrative.
That's because the individual won $100,000 playing a scratch-off game purchased at the Southington Cumberland Farms located at 1978 West St., Southington.
The winning ticket was for the "$100,000 Ca$hword" game, and it was purchased on Thursday, July 17, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp.
