Southside Meat Market, Post 209 Teaming For Christmas Fundraiser Raffle

Southside Meat Market is once again lending its support to American Legion Post 209 for a Christmas fundraiser raffle.

“We are proud to give the community the ‘American Legion Post 209 Christmas Spectacular’ fundraiser with Southside Meat Market,” said Brian Avery, commander of American Legion Post 209.

Several gift cards to Southside Meat Market will be awarded to raffle winners, with first place receiving a $300 gift card, second place receiving a $150 gift card and third place receiving a $100 gift card. Fifth, sixth and seventh place will each receive $50 gift cards.

“Gift cards can be broken down and used individually or given away as Christmas gifts,” Avery said.

The drawing will be held Dec. 4 at Southside Meat Market at 145 West St.

“Owners Sam, Steve and Dan will be helping out with the drawing,” Avery said.

Avery said proceeds from the raffle will support American Legion Post 209’s efforts to help out in the community this holiday season and into next year.

“Any support is greatly appreciated,” he said.

Tickets to the raffle are $2 each or a booklet of 10 tickets for $20. Booklets of 10 can also be purchased via PayPal at brianavery@sbcglobal.net and Venmo @Brian-Avery-19.

When purchasing tickets, people are asked to provide their name, address, phone number and email so American Legion Post 209 can provide them with their ticket numbers.
