Suspected Drug Dealer Busted by Southington PD
The suspect is accused of selling heroin and pot in town.

A suspected heroin and marijuana dealer has been arrested by Southington Police.
After receiving information last April that the suspect was selling marijuana and heroin in town, the Special Investigations Unit arranged for two controlled purchases of each drug from the suspect, according to police.
Police then obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Luke Mauro, 24, of Hartford, charging him with two counts each of sale of heroin and sale of marijuana.

Mauro was arrested on Jan. 14, when he appeared at state SuperiorCourt in Waterbury on unrelated charges, according to police.
Mauro is being held on bonds totaling $220,000 and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Bristol Court on Feb. 19, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website.
