Take A Free Historical Tour Of The National Iwo Jima Memorial

The Iwo Jima Memorial Historical Foundation Inc. will be hosting free historical tours of the National Iwo Jima Memorial this Saturday.

Weather permitting, from 10 a.m. to noon, guests can learn about the unique features of the monument located at 1 Iwo Jima Way, including the monument’s creation and the Battle of Iwo Jima.

A Betsy Ross portrayer will also have activities for children of all ages, including how to make a Betsy Ross Star.

All are welcomed to partake in the activities and remembrance of the historic site and battle.
