Terryville Lions Club Bringing Back Easter Egg Hunt

The Terryville Lions Club are bringing their annual Easter egg hunt back to Terryville High School Saturday, April 2.

The Easter egg hunt will be held for children 10 and younger starting at 1 p.m., weather permitting, at the school at 33 N. Harwinton Ave. A rain date has also been set for April 3. The Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance, and families are encouraged to bring their cameras and take pictures.

Cathy Paskus, club liaison for the local Leos Club, said that the students involved in the club hide the eggs in preparation for the egg hunt. Some eggs will contain money and other prizes inside.

“In past years we’ve had hundreds of people show up,” she said. “In about two seconds, the eggs are gone. The kids have a lot of fun with it. It’s a good time; one of the many things that the Lions Club does for the community.”
