Town-Wide Tag Sale, Weekend Weather and 'Leave Your Gun at Home'

Good morning from Southington Patch! Today is Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013.

1. It's coming. What, you ask? Well, that big sale across the community that helps raise funds and allows you to get that item for your home you've been missing. It's the Town-Wide Tag Sale. Click the link for more details.

2. The Board of Fire Commissioners will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at the Southington Fire Department Headquarters. 

3. Need some fresh fruits and veggies? Take advantage of the local farmer's market before it's too late. The market, Fridays from 3 - 6 p.m., will only run a few more weeks so don't miss out.

4. The bright sun with warm days and cool nights will continue - from Thursday morning right through the weekend. Expect New England autumn weather, according to the National Weather Service. For more, click here.
