Town-Wide Tag Sale, Wet Weather and Nice Weekend & Board of Education

Good morning from Southington Patch! Today is Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013.

2. With schools back in full swing, the Board of Education meets tonight at 7 p.m. in the Public Assembly Room at the Southington Municipal Center.

3. Need some fresh fruits and veggies? Take advantage of the local farmer's market before it's too late. The market, Fridays from 3 - 6 p.m., will only run a few more weeks so don't miss out.

4. "It can't rain all the time." There's some wet and wild weather ahead the next couple days, according to the National Weather Center, but it comes with some good news: the weekend looks clear and sunny, with temperatures in the 70s.
