Two Southington Commercial Sites Sold In Multi-Million-Dollar Deals

SOUTHINGTON, CT — In two separate, multi-million real estate deals, prominent commercial buildings in downtown Southington changed owership hands last week.

Deeds for both deals were filed May 10 at Southington Town Hall, with both properties located on North Main Street.

Waltham, Mass.,-based Crescent Holdings LLC acquired from Abbey Park Inc. out of Southington the 51 N. Main St. building downtown. The purchase price, according to town records, was $2 million.

This storefront/retail location was built in 1920 and features 29,748 square feet of space, according to Loopnet.com listings.

The building has several units available for use, but it is currently home to the Southington Coffee House coffee shop and eatery.

Meanwhile, Abby South LLC out of Southington sold, for $2.1 million, a commercial/office building at 29-27 N. Main St. in Southington to Crescent Holdings as well.

This site is/was home to multiple types of office-based operations, including legal offices, among other uses.
