Underage Drinking Party Busted by Southington Police
Six teens, 1 adult are facing charges after police say they found a beer keg and pot in a local home.

Six Southington teens and one adult are facing alcohol and marijuana possession charges after Southington Police broke up an underage drinking party over the weekend.
Police were dispatched to 102 Doe Meadow Ct. just before 11:30 p.m. Dec. 19 after someone reported there was an underage drinking party. When officers arrived, they heard “music coming from inside the residence and from inside the garage,” police said in a statement.
“Officers detected a strong odor of marijuana and they also observed evidence of alcohol consumption. A check of the residence showed 1 beer keg, numerous cans of beer, drug paraphernalia and marijuana,” police said.

One juvenile was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and permitting minors to possess alcohol (social hosting). Two other juveniles were charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
Christopher Bouyea, 19, and David C. Smelly Jr., 19, both of Southington, were charged with possession of alcohol by a minor., Domenic Stephen Rossi, 18, of Southington, was charged with possession of less than a 1/2 oz. of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Aaron Pratt, 24, of Terryville, was charged with possession of less than a 1/2 oz. of marijuana.
