Updated Halloween Forecast for Southington
We'll let you know what to expect if you are taking the kids trick or treating and what the weekend weather forecast will be.
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, which makes it easier for families to go trick-or-treating, but the big question is always, what will the weather be like?
Will I need a winter coat, a raincoat, or can I just skip the jacket altogether?
The answer is pretty good news. It’s going to be a nice seasonal day on Saturday and when you head out to trick-or-treat temps will in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
There isn’t any chance of rain on Saturday.
Here is the updated and detailed weekend forecast via the National Weather Service:
- Friday, sunny, temps in the upper 50s.
- Friday night, temps falling in the low to mid 30s statewide with some patchy frost possible in northern sections of the state.
- Halloween, nothing but sunshine with high temps approaching 55 degrees.
- Halloween night, temps falling back only into the low to mid 40s.
- Sunday, temps will be in the upper 50s but it will be mostly cloudy and there is a slight chance of showers early.
Next week: No rain and plenty of 60s in the work week forecast as of now.
