Vehicle Rolls Down Embankment In Southington: Firefighters

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Local firefighters rushed to a serious accident Friday morning that snarled traffic on a busy stretch of roadway.

According to Southington Firefighters Local 2033, Friday morning, Southington Fire Department firefighters were called to the 1300 block of West Street.

There, responders tended to a vehicle accident involving a "rollover down an embankment with entrapment."

The firefighters' union posted a notification of the incident after about 8 a.m.

The SFD and Southington Police Department were on the scene and no further information was available.
