Veteran Cop Sworn In To Join Southington's Finest

SOUTHINGTON, CT —A veteran law enforcer was welcomed into the ranks of the Southington Police Department this week.

The SPD on Wednesday announced that Officer Ashley Douglas was sworn in to become one of Southington's finest.

Douglas comes to the SPD with more than a decade of experience fighting crime.

In fact, she has 14 years of prior law enforcement experience and "brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the profession," wrote the SPD.

"She is excited to serve the Southington community, and we are equally excited to have her join our team," the SPD said.
