WEATHER ALERT: Wind Advisory Issued for Hartford, Tolland Counties
The National Weather Service predicts damaging overnight winds.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Hartford and Tolland counties as well as most of southern New England for early Wednesday.
The advisory is in effect from 1 to 5 a.m. Wednesday when winds of 15 to 20 mph are expected to gust up to 45 mph, according to the weather service.
The weather service said Tuesday afternoon, the “IMPACTS...SMALL TREE LIMBS AND BRANCHES MAY BE DOWNED. ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES. DIFFICULT DRIVING...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.”
