Woman Charged with Selling Prescription Pills in Southington
Southington Police obtained arrest warrants after making undercover buys.

SOUTHINGTON, CT - A 24-year-old woman is facing charges that she sold Xanax and Oxycodone in Southington last April.
According to Southington Police, the department's Special Investigations Unit received information that the woman was selling the prescription pills within the Town of Southington and arranged to make four controlled purchases from her.
Police then obtained four arrest warrants charging Marika Tiniakos, 24 of Cheshire, with two counts each of sale of controlled substance (Xanax) and sale of narcotics (Oxycodone).

Tiniakos was taken into custody during a police contact in Cheshire, on Feb. 26. She was released after posting bonds totaling $200,000 and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Bristol on March 14.
