Clark Street in South Windsor Re-Opens After Accident

Clark Street re-opened at 4 p.m. today after a motor-vehicle accident Sunday morning knocked down a utility pole, according to police.

The accident resulted in the roadway being partially closed for 13 hours.

The driver of a 1993 Jeep was taken to Hartford Hospital by ambulance for evaluation of injuries after the accident, which took place at 2:55 a.m., Sgt. Scott Custer said in an e-mail.
