First Responders Worked To Keep South Windsor Safe On Christmas Day, Police Say
Police thanked first responders who remained on duty while many residents celebrated Christmas with family.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — While many residents spent Christmas with family, officers and dispatchers with the South Windsor Police Department were on duty throughout the holiday to keep the community safe.
Police said the day shift included dispatchers Rachel Burnham and Jake Dooley, Corporal Kyle LaPorte, Officer Caleb Lopez, Officer Tom DeFelice, and Officer Tim Kodraj. Officers Madison Lamagna and Caleb Lopez were also pictured with holiday treats delivered by Fire Police partners.

The evening shift included Sgt. Ed Klein, Officer Tom DeFelice, Officer Victoria Weiss, Officer Jeremiah Bravo, and Officer Jonathan Falletti, according to the department.
In a Christmas Day message, police thanked everyone who worked during the holiday and wished residents a warm and peaceful day, encouraging the community to “be good, be smart, and be safe.”
