[Updated] CL&P Restores Power to South Windsor Homes After Outages

Some 37 customers were still without power as of 5:50 p.m.

Connecticut Light & Power employees restored power in the Cory Brook Road area in South Windsor after some equipment failed, leaving about 123 customers in the dark.

CL&P spokeswoman Lissette Andino said that there were 37 customers who did not have power as of 5:50 p.m., but that power had been fully restored by 9 p.m. Andino said she did not know when the power was lost.

Andino said that the cause of the outage was “equipment failure” due to “transformer issues.”
