A former elementary school paraprofessional was charged on a warrant Saturday with importing and possessing child sex abuse material.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A former elementary school paraprofessional was arrested over the weekend on a warrant in connection with an investigation into the discovery of child sex abuse material at his home.
Eric J. LeClair, 29, was charged Saturday morning with importing child sex abuse material and possession of child sex abuse material. He was released after posting a $75,000 surety bond, and is due to appear Jan. 15 in Manchester Superior Court.
In June, police received a tip regarding the material from the Connecticut Center for Digital Investigations from a private company, Media Lab/Kik Messenger. During the course of a lengthy investigation, it was determined the IP address used to access the images was from a residence in South Windsor, and LeClair was identified as a suspect, police said.
