Have You Seen Libby?

English Shepherd was last seen on Griffin Road in South Windsor - around the Topstone Golf Course - on Monday morning.

A South Windsor resident is searching for Libby, a 2- to 3-year-old English Shepherd who went missing this morning on Griffin Road around the Topstone Golf Course area.

Liz Swanson, the dog’s owner, said that Libby is a rescue dog that has been in Swanson’s home for just a week.

Libby normally has a leash on at home, but today she broke free from the home around 9:30 a.m. and has been missing ever since.

Swanson said that Libby is both timid and shy and will likely run away from strangers.

“It’s hard to approach her,” Swanson said of Libby, who is white, gold and brown and weighs about 40 pounds.

As such, anyone who spots the dog is asked to call Swanson at 860-644-9687.
