Man Charged with DUI After Car Spins out of Control
After speeding past a police officer, the driver's car spun out of control and hit some street signs, South Windsor police said.

A 35-year-old driver was speeding on Oakland Road shortly after midnight Friday when a police officer saw his car drive by, then spin out of control, South Windsor police said.
After spinning out of control, the vehicle struck a set of signs on Oakland Road and the officer suspected the driver was under the influence.
Allen Chinn, of Manchester, did not pass a field sobriety test police said. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and traveling too fast for conditions. He was released on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear March 23 in state Superior Court in Manchester.
