[Updated] Man Extricated From Car in South Windsor Accident
Ellington Road at Pleasant Valley Road is expected to be closed until 10 a.m. to reconstruct the accident.
[Updated 10:55 a.m. Tuesday] The operator of the car involved in the Ellington Road rollover crash is Chad Dandridge, 23, of 2704 Millpond Drive, according to police spokesperson Sgt. Scott Custer.
Dandridge's injuries are not thought to be life threatening; the vehicle involved was an Infiniti G35 4door sedan, Custer said.

Firefighters were required to extricate the driver, a 23-year-old South Windsor man who was then transported by Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital, according to Custer.
The driver, who was the car's only occupant, had injuries to his hip, leg and face, but they were not considered life-threatening, according to Custer.
“[The driver] was conscious and alert,” Custer said. “But because he had to be extricated, he was transported by helicopter to Hartford Hospital.”
