Missing Mass. Children Located at 7-Eleven in South Windsor
An Amber Alert had been issued for Sarah Nguyen, 10, and Patrick Nguyun, 8, who were allegedly forcibly taken from their foster home by their father Jon Lockwood.

Two Massachusetts children who were allegedly forcibly taken by their father from their foster home were located Monday evening at the 7-Eleven on Ellington Road.
An Amber Alert had been issued for Sarah Nguyen, 10, and Patrick Nguyen, 8, after their father Jon Lockwood, 54, removed the children from their Braintree foster home without permission, according to NBC Connecticut.
The children were not harmed and Lockwood was taken into custody by Connecticut state police from Troop C, according to the AP and Sgt. Scott Custer of the South Windsor police.
A truck driver saw the vehicle Lockwood was driving on I-84 and called 911. The South Windsor police department issued the following statement:
Kudos to the professional truck driver who remembered the Amber Alert details at 11 p.m. last night and notified 911. It is amazing that he or she saw the suspect vehicle among the thousands of vehicles he/she must encounter each day on the highway and was instrumental in the children's safe return. Thank you for your assistance!Lockwood is being sent back to Massachusetts to face criminal charges, according to the Boston Globe.
The Amber Alert was subsequently canceled.
