More College Milestones Achieved By Students From South Windsor

American International College, Springfield MA

• AIC student Malachi O'Neal of South Windsor has earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2024 semester. O'Neal is majoring in athletic administration and leadership. Dean's List honors are awarded to full-time students who have achieved a 3.3 to 4.0 GPA.

Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Bryant University is pleased to recognize South Windsor residents Will Arnold, Eden Bauer and Dalena Tran, who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to academic excellence and achievement and have been named to the spring 2024 President's List. The President's List is an academic distinction reserved for Bryant's highest achievers who earn a GPA of 4.0 for at least 12 semester hours of work.
• South Windsor residents Will Arnold, Eden Bauer, Kyle Brown, Kenneth Cotler, Samuel Kamm, Shreya Periyasamy, Ayush Roy and Dalena Tran have been named to the spring 2024 Deans' List. To earn a place on the Deans' List, students must have a GPA of 3.4 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work.

Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta GA

• Akshat Shenoi of South Windsor earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for spring 2024 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Salve Regina University, Newport RI

• Olivia Liegl of South Windsor was named to the Dean's List during the spring 2024 academic semester at Salve Regina University. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 for full-time students completing at least 12 graded credits.

State University of New York, Cortland NY

• Grace Reed of South Windsor was among the 2,434 SUNY Cortland students recognized for academic excellence on the university's Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. Reed is studying exercise science. The Dean's List is the highest ranking for undergraduate students in their respective academic areas of the university. Students must earn a minimum 3.3 grade point average for the semester to make the list.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Madeline Fischer of South Windsor was named to the University of Alabama Dean's List for spring semester 2024. A total of 13,103 students were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 or above.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce that 964 students, including a dozen from South Windsor, received graduate and undergraduate degrees as part of the class of 2024. Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• A total of 2,226 undergraduate students at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) achieved the criteria required for the university's spring 2024 Dean's List. Honorees from South Windsor were Sidharth Atluri, Geethika Chandragiri, Jack Libow, Nathan Russell, Sophia Wong and Jia Yazon. The WPI Dean's List differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
