American International College, Springfield MA
- American International College (AIC) held its 139th commencement ceremony on May 11 at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, celebrating more than 600 graduates in the Class of 2024. Kelly Aznavourian of South Windsor received a Master of Education degree in the English as a second language program. Enid Rivera Pratts of South Windsor received a Master of Science degree in the forensic psychology program.

- Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester, in which more than 1,200 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs.
Among the students were South Windsor residents Nicole Leyner, Kyle Berson, Elise Clark, Ali Ezedine, Lindsay Fishman, Aaron Matus, Sarah Mazzaro, Melissa Poinelli, Emma Thibedeau, Jessica Vieira and Matthew Vnuk. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.
Emerson College, Boston MA
- Two students from South Windsor were named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. Olivia Trzaski is majoring in creative writing and is a member of the Class of 2026. Lorina Sediqi is majoring in communication studies and is a member of the Class of 2026. The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.
James Madison University, Harrisonburg VA

- South Windsor resident Gina Bretz has been named to the President's List at James Madison University for the spring 2024 semester. Students who earn President's List honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above. Bretz is majoring in anthropology.
Le Moyne College, Syracuse NY
- Adria Dias, a psychology major from South Windsor, has been named to the Le Moyne College spring 2024 Dean's List. To make the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above.
State University of New York, Potsdam NY
- Ryan Dunia of South Windsor was recently named to the President's List at the State University of New York at Potsdam. Dunia, whose major is music education, was among 727 students who were honored for academic excellence in the spring 2024 semester. o achieve the honor of being on the President's List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Stonehill College, Easton MA
- Jamie Brunelle, a member of the Class of 2027 from South Windsor, has been named to the spring 2024 Dean's List at Stonehill College. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered.
University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI
- The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the spring 2024 Dean's List. Students from South Windsor who made the list are Lia Pendergast, Sean Woods, Hannah Sweet, Dominic Russo, Riley Castle, Owen Jeram, Samantha Wunsch, Sam Meleshenko, Josh Weiner, Zachary Richard, Kylie Correale, Jamie Peters, Katelyn Drenga, Summer Bauer, Abby Peruccio and Wade Violette. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.
