More Great Feats Accomplished By College Students From South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great college achievements will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

Goodwin University, East Hartford CT

• Goodwin University's President's List for the spring 2024 session includes 291 students, all of whom scored a perfect 4.0 GPA. Among them were South Windsor residents Sarah Davis, Thera Debella and Victoire Will.
• Goodwin University announces 752 students achieved Dean's List status for the spring 2024 session. Dean's List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify. South Windsor students making the list were Sarah Davis, Thera Debella, Kyrsten Humphreys, Paula McLean, Maria Taggart, Ryan Will and Victoire Will.

Purchase College-SUNY, Purchase NY

• Vasileios Kiritsis of South Windsor has been named to Purchase College's Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. Kiritsis is studying arts management. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs and 3.75 for Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music Performance programs. They must take a minimum of 12 credits.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Brandon Shover and Amanda Walsh, both of South Windsor, have been named to the spring 2024 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ

• Seton Hall University is pleased to announce the spring 2024 Dean's list and to congratulate students for their outstanding academic achievements. After the close of every semester, undergraduate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than "C", qualify for the Dean's List. The following South Windsor students made the list: Garrett Belardi, Ryan Korah, Melissa Murdoch and Joshua Smith.

Tufts University, Medford MA

• Tufts University awarded more than 2,800 degrees across all schools during its ceremony commemorating the accomplishments of the Class of 2024. Juanita Asapokhai of South Windsor graduated with a degree in sociology.
• Maya Lagasse and Alejandro Recio, both members of the Class of 2026 from South Windsor, made the dean's list for the spring 2024 semester. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

University of Tampa, Tampa FL

• Emma Nagle, of South Windsor, earned dean's list honors at the University of Tampa for the spring 2024 semester. Nagle was a junior majoring in criminology and criminal justice. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.
