My Pregnant Wife/Life, South Windsor Town Council Meeting, Sports Sked
Here are five things going on in the area today.

Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Monday, April 22, 2013; there are 253 days left in the year.
Friends, my wife, the Yogurt Siren, is due to give birth to our son any day.
And, throughout the pregnancy, the Yogurt Siren has been nothing short of a trooper.
Seriously, I’d want nothing to do with what she did, lugging that kid around in her belly for nine months.
But she did get back at me in a way, as she waited until the very end to start asking me to go out on late-night runs for food - ice cream last night, Nutella and Rice Chex (ick) the night before.
And I went, without complaint, and retrieved what she wanted. Because there really is no good response to give your very pregnant wife who wants something, other than, ‘Yes, dear.’
Here’s your Daily 5:
1. The South Windsor Town Council will host a special meeting tonight at 7 p.m.
2. Terrific Twos Learn the Alphabet at the South Windsor Public Librry.
3. Stretch and Relax Yoga at 12 p.m.
4. Gentle Yoga at 6:30 p.m.
5. Big day in sports today, with the South Windsor High baseball and softball teams taking on their Weaver counterparts at 3:45 and 4 p.m., respectively. The baseball team is on the road, while the softball team is home. The boys tennis team takes on Farmington at home at 3:45 p.m., while the girls face Berlin on the road, also at 3:45 p.m.
