South Windsor Children, Animals Have Modest Requests If They Hit Powerball

Credit the South Windsor children, pets and farm animals, all of whom had modest purchases if they were to hit the $550 million Powerball jackpot on Saturday.

Indeed, the most extravagant purchase would be an excavator by a little boy. Because excavators are what dudes buy.

A little girl said she wanted a stroller. No word from Ferrari as to whether that's an untapped market.

A black Labrador said he would put away most of the money in low-risk investments like T-bills and municipal bonds, as the overseas markets are just too volatile.

"Woof," he said.
