South Windsor Fire Fighters Knock Down Blaze at Wentworth Drive Home

South Windsor firefighters brought a house fire at 105 Wentworth Drive under control Tuesday, according to Chief Kevin Cooney.

The fire, which started around 5:10 p.m., was contained in the attic, Cooney said. The matter is currently under investigation by the fire marshal’s office, Cooney said.

There is no word yet as to whether the occupants have been displaced from the single-story, ranch home, Cooney said.
