South Windsor Police Log for April 12 - 15
The following information was provided by the South Windsor police department. It does not indicate convictions.
Cheryl Ritchie, 48, of Ellington, was charged on April 15 with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to travel a reasonable distance apart and failure to carry registration. She was later released on a non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on April 29.
Her charges stem from a motor vehicle accident on Ellington Road and Valley View Drive, according to police. There were no injuries but the officers suspected one of the drivers - Ritchie - was under the influence of alcohol.
